NEW
This 10 week Jewellery Making Course is suitable for all handcraft enthusiasts. The tutor, Stacey Kemp, has over 20 years’ experience in the jewellery making profession and has taught over 5000 people how to create beautiful jewellery. She has had many pieces published in the UK and the US, most notably a front cover design in the US magazine Bead & Button.

During the 10 weeks you will learn everything you need to know about the basics of jewellery making. You’ll use a wide variety of different high quality materials to complete accessories, earrings, necklaces and bracelets.

Master the techniques of necklace stringing, closures, netting, wirework, and making that perfect loop. Find out what threading materials are compatible with which beads and clasps. Achieve a professional finish to all your jewellery. You will use Tiger Tail, different wires, chain, cotton thong, leather and threads. Also, seed beads, bugle beads, pearls, glass beads, metal beads and even recycled wood beads!

During the 10 weeks you will learn a wealth of techniques, which you can later adapt to create your own style. You will gain a different skill with each project. On completion of your course, each student will have a full collection of interchangeable colour coordinated jewellery. You will make and take home 22 jewellery pieces while learning a new and exciting craft. Stacy will discuss how to display, cost and market your jewellery too. She will also chat about the history of beads and other jewellery related pearls of wisdom!

To achieve this collection it will be necessary to purchase the materials that make up each project. In order to reduce costs of buying full packets of materials, searching for the correct product and postage issues, the tutor will compile the materials into kits. The cost for the 22 project kits is €75.00, containing over 100 individual jewellery components. This will be payable on the first night and is in addition to the course fee. Great value at just €3.40 per kit!. The use of specialised precision tools will be provided for you by your tutor during the 10 weeks.

At the end of the course, each student will receive a FREE copy of Stacey’s 54 page best selling book Jewellery Making Basics, with over 7,000 sold.

We look forward to seeing you at this highly creative, sociable and great fun course.
