Course Overview

Pilates is a mind body conditioning programme that targets the deep postural muscles of the abdomen and spine, to improve overall core stability and posture. Pilates Mat classes teach you how to strengthen and stabilize the spine while positively changing the tone and shape of your body. Pilates dramatically transforms the way your body looks, feels and performs and is extremely beneficial for those who have had or who are currently suffering from back or neck pain.

Be prepared to work out in an energetic and dynamic environment, our Pilates Mat classes will engage and challenge you, while balancing your mind and body. Exercises will be designed to suit your individual needs.

A variety of small props may be used to provide added resistance or assistance creating more opportunity for a stronger, leaner body.  Pilates also gives you the ‘feel good’ factor, so classes are challenging and enjoyable; everyone works at their own pace as all exercises can be made easier or harder. This means that classes are mixed ability and suitable for beginners…all you need is comfortable clothes and a mat.  

Eliza Rzepko

The tutor, Eliza Rzepko, is a highly skilled and qualified Pilates instructor with over 10 years’ experience. She has worked with both individuals and groups helping them to achieve their goals. She has been working in the fitness industry for over 12 years and has an MSC in Sports Science giving her both educational and practical experience.
